Nate's song, Lovers Will, is about narcissistic relationships. I was inspired to write the song after watching my sister-in-law experience what I've had to endure many times, and what it seems most people have to endure at least once in their lives, within a relationship.

I'm honored to have had Donnie Emerson produce this song, and to be producing the rest of the songs for the upcoming album.

We had a lot of different takes, with different players on this tune. Four different bass players, three different drummers and three different piano/ organ players. There was a very specific sound and vibe we were looking for on this tune.

I wanted a lot of movement, the perfect kind of movement, in the song to inspire the feeling of unnoticeable chaos. Just like a narcissistic relationship. The feeling of your attention being taken here, there, everywhere, and not feeling in control, but at the same time being blindly in love with it all.

I think overall, the song does it's job. And if people really listen to it...I mean really listen... they will get it.
